With the bike ride of 31 December 2010 ended the first year of Critical Mass Ivrea, the movement that promotes the use of bicycles in the city as an alternative to cars.

Con piacevole sorpresa per tutti ha fatto la sua apparizione anche il Sindaco di Ivrea, Carlo Della Pepa, all'abituale ritrovo presso la Torre di Santo Stefano alle 18:00, soffermandosi per un brindisi e per lo scambio di auguri. La presenza delle istituzioni è un segno dell'attenzione che l'Amministrazione cittadina ha per la mobilità, del grande lavoro che sta facendo per migliorare la fruibilità degli spazi pubblici da parte di tutti, dell'impegno che tra mille difficoltà cerca di portare avanti per il contenimento del traffico motorizzato e per restituire alle persone la vivibilità della città.
