Da parte di Legambiente e Massa Critica, infatti, many questions had arisen over both the timing of implementation of certain measures deemed urgent and easily feasible, such as moving the right side of the bike path Lungodora, and on some measures in implementation, such as the "area 30" in Via Dora Baltea or, yet, on actions announced today, like that for the area of \u200b\u200bVia De Gasperi.
At the beginning of the Mobility Manager has presented two projects that were proposed to the Administration: a bike-sharing, which provides bicycles available to casual users, and a car sharing instead where there is an available ' car.
The discussion is then initiated by these proposals, which we liked: the bike-sharing because, in our opinion, the most pressing issue in Ivrea is to provide bicycles (most already have) but to enable their use, since the majority of potential cyclists afraid to use the bike in the middle of a traffic that does not sufficiently safeguard the safety of people, because that car sharing is very obvious to repeat, use half the use of which should be reduced and certainly not encouraged.
Back to the main issues that were the subject of the meeting, Councillor for Mobility has recognized all the limitations that we have denounced the action of the Administration, explained the various challenges encountered: lengthy bureaucratic procedures to implement a project, unreliability of the companies that win contracts, difficulty in finding financial resources, lack of funding by the Region for the projects presented and, finally, the need to implement compromises with the bulk of motorists.
In any case, we believe the discussion was made on Thursday afternoon and was used to help clarify issues and positions.
In conclusion, we agree with the City Council a process that involves a greater involvement in our project sponsored by the City of pedestrian: there will be provided in a document on the draft program document on which we will do our observations, obviously with the spirit as constructive as possible.
